UNION
Having had a highly successful launch at Ronnie Scott's in the Summer of 2017 when the project made its debut, the first Union album is ready.
The music ranges from everything between bebop and classical music as well as almost totally free improvisation. There is always a cutting, satirical edge to everything we play. All of the music on the record is original, written as a social commentary of the state of society in the 21st century, hence the the title 'Welcome to the New World'. The members of the Union are:
Joe Boyle on Double Bass
Rich Muscat on Saxophones
Sam Leak on Piano
Dougal Taylor on Drums.
The Record
Recorded in December 2017, and to be released soon on Diptych Records, the album 'Welcome to the New World' will be available online on Spotify, iTunes etc.
